W-CDMA TRX/Performance Test System/W-CDMA RRM Test System

The ME7873F test platform supports the most GCF/PTCRB-approved TS34.121 RF conformance test cases in the world. A full range of communications tests with W-CDMA UE (loopback mode), as well as non-call-processing tests are supported, and the system is configured using dedicated software and a range of instruments centered on the MD8480C W-CDMA Signalling Tester. This ‘all-in-one’ design supports conformance tests of all 9 UMTS bands (I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VIII, IX, and XI) used worldwide.
The ME7873F supports TRX characteristics tests of W-CDMA UE standardized in 3GPP TS34.121 Chapter 5 (Transmitter Characteristics), Chapter 6 (Receiver Characteristics), and Chapter 7 (Performance Requirements). Measurements in Chapter 8 (Requirements for support of RRM), Chapter 9 (Performance requirements for HSDPA), Chapter 10 (Performance requirement (E-DCH)), and Chapter 11 (Performance requirement (MBMS)) are supported by installing options. All inter-RAT tests, including handover tests, are supported too.
The ME7874F RRM Test System supports measurements in Chapter 8 (Requirements for support of RRM) of the 3GPP TS34.121 standard.
