The
growth of rich-content and triple play services over the Internet is driving
intensive R&D and manufacturing of devices and modules for FTTx and
10G services. With the recent move to 10GbE, interoperability between
transmission equipment has become very important, and equipment vendors
are increasingly requiring support for worst-case conformance tests at
the Receiver side.
The new pluggable
cards and software tool for MP1800 Signal Quality Analyser (MU181620A,
MU181640A, and MX180002A) support stable, high-accuracy, IEEE802.3-2005
compliant 10GBASE-LR/ER Stressed Receiver Conformance Tests. |

The
NEW MU181020A-013 Variable Data Output (0.5 to 3.5 Vp-p) option is now
available on the MP1800A Signal Quality Analyzer's PPG (Pulse Pattern
Generator). This provides electrical outputs with large amplitude up to
3.5 Vp-p and high quality waveforms. The cross-point of the waveforms
is adjustable from 20 % to 85 % to meet our customers' most demanding
expectations for optical waveforms' cross-point adjustability.
The main applications
will cover different areas such as R&D, manufacturing and verification
of light emitting devices (ex. TOSA, LD, EA, EML) for optical transceivers
like 300 pin, XENPAK, SFP, SFP+ and XFP. The transceivers are commonly
used in most of transmission equipments in these days. Now, thanks to
this option, they do not need external amplifiers anymore. |
