The Radio Communication Analyzers MT8820B/MT8815B are manufacturing testers that can test the entire range of mobile terminals used throughout the world, from W-CDMA/HSDPA to CDMA 2000 1X/1xEV-DO GSM/GPRS/EGPRS. Simply install the hardware and software for that particular format, and a single MT8820B/MT8815B unit can perform all of the main tests needed on the production line, from RF TRX characteristics measurements to call processing tests.

Incorporating advanced DSP technology[*1] and parallel measuring technology[*2], these testers can test RF transmitter characteristics at the fastest speed in the world, while also consuming less power (30% less than prior models). This will help reduce mobile terminal manufacturing costs. The ability to batch-execute a number of measurements and repeat each measurement facilitates and speeds up pass-fail testing of the primary test items.

Furthermore, the Parallelphone measurement function can be installed on the MT8820B. This function makes it possible to measure two mobile terminals at the same time using a single MT8820B unit.
